Another fairy tale

Another fairy tale

There are times when it feels
As if God is just another fairy tale.
We all know that fairy tales never come true.

What would be the point of living if
God was just another prince
That exists only in our imagination?

What would be the point if
All of our suffering and restrictions of life
if God was just another fable?

Dear God, wherever you are
Whatever you are doing, please stop it
For a second, and look down.
We need you here.

Look at the crimes being committed,
The meaningless wars, the death of the
Innocent child, the deadly diseases,

Please put an end to it all
Please God turn your face
Toward us and say it’s enough.

God I believe you are not another tale
or another God who sits and watches suffer
the take pleasure

so please dear father, please say it’s enough.
You must have loved us at some point
If you sent your son to die
For the sake of this love, please say it’s enough

I am sorry you did not enjoy the poem. It was written in a moment where it felt that God was either sleeping or absent, but thank you for reminding me that it is our fault, not his if we are sufferring.

I must say, i didnt enjoy the poem, it was well written, and you got your point across very well. Hunn, this is not Gods fault, this is the fault of mankind. God lets us make our own choices and suffer the out come, so we may learn from our mistakes and repeat our blessings. Humans are violent by nature, we cant help it, we are all born into sin, that is not how God made it, but how Adam and Eve made it when they ate the fruit of knowledge of good and evil. trust me love, I know how it could feel like God has turned on us, my brother just past away at only 28 years old, this happened just last night, and his last words to me where "Dont worry, God is with me, Ill be fine by his side," God has not turned his face on mankind, mankind turned thier faces away from God.
