Done with goodbyes

by Julie Raab   May 10, 2009

Walking in the depth of night,
When all the sense arose.
Where all the colors are out of sight,
and all the lovers propose.

Looking at the blackest of skies,
Tears running down my face.
I'm so sick and tired of all the lies,
I'm falling from every place but grace.

Running from the brightest of stars,
Forgetting all the pain.
Learning no matter how deep the scars,
Knowing there is nothing to gain.

Curious of all the people that will weep,
Seeing the metal pressed against me wrist.
Falling forever into an eternal sleep,
I am the one person who will never be missed.

I hope no one will hear my cries,
Because I am done with goodbyes.
