Summer Dancing

Shoes and socks
Shirts and pants
All this clothing
Makes me want to dance

Bees and flowers
Grass and dirt
Summer's in the air
That's when I flirt

Tennis and Golf
Biking and Hiking
Sports are the best
It's all so striking

Love the shoes
Love the pants
The socks, not so much
I still want to dance

Trees and insects
Rain and Snow
I love summer
I wish it wouldn't go

Time for flip-flops
Shorts replace the pants
Now, I'm ready for summer
Now, I'm going to dance

    well i have to say congradulations. ha ha I'm like a total emo kid and this even made me wanna go dancing so just know you did a great job!!!!

    this was such a fun poem and just made my night. you are so talented and really have the ability to write ANY genre which is something most poets cant do, it just shows how undeniably talented you are!!!!

    i just loved every word of this poem, it was so unique and just absolutely adorable!!!! makes me wanna get up and dance =) great job, keep up the awesome wok!!!!
