I Am Afraid

You tell me not to be afraid
That i don't need to worry your here to stay
But if you want the truth
Here it is I'm afraid I'm going to lose you

I am afraid one day
You'll find a guy that knows the right things to say
To make you change your mind
About being with me and starting a new life

I'm afraid he might have
The smile that makes you unsad
The one I've always tried to do
But it seems it doesn't work when i try to

I'm afraid he might have the touch
The one i have that you love so much
The one that makes your body tingle
Next thing you know you'll want to be single

I'm afraid he will have the voice
To make you change your choice
And you'll want to be with him
But don't worry I'll still be here in the end

I'm afraid I wont get to call you mine
To make everything in your life alright
Afraid i wont get the chance to show you i care
And the chance to show you ill always be there

So no matter how much you tell me "Don't be scared"
I'm still going to be afraid you won't always be there
But for you baby i will try
I just want you to always be near by

    Wow just WOW! God, I would give anything to be that girl you are talking about! You really know how to treat her good! You are one in a million!     I though your poem was pretty good, the ending paragraph was my favourite..

    So no matter how much you tell me "Don't be scared"
    I'm still going to be afraid you won't always be there
    But for you baby i will try
    I just want you to always be near by
