Footprints in our Hearts

by Arlan   Jun 16, 2009

You were a loving friend,
a co-worker to us all.
The people who knew you best
called you "Mom".

You had exquisite personality and a smile
that could brighten up any room.
You were an inspiration to all of us at work,
you were the best cashier and also loved her job,
you strived for excellence in everything she did.

When they told us you were in the hospital,
and they told us you had breast an bone cancer.
We were all shocked that it happen to you.

Month later they told us that you had passed away,
we were all very sad and surprised you were gone so soon. Went to the funeral to say goodbye to a wonderful loving women, we all miss you, and we will never forget you.

It's only been a four years since you've been gone now, you've left footprints in our hearts forever.
we will never ever forget you. you also left footprints in your family's hearts as well. You left not only a mark on our hearts an our lives you touched around you.

Dedicated to a wonderful lady Margret Eileen Myers who worked at Wal-mart 2331 in Waterford CT of cancer on May 18th 2009, you will be missed deeply at work in our hearts forever. You won't ever be forgotten.

I love this poem, it's really sweet and from the heart. There's a lady I met at my work (she's left to go to another job) but I consider her a good friend. All in the office call her Mother. As soon as I read this I thought if anything would happen to her it would be devastating. Beautiful words
