Let You Know

I do not know what to do,
Now you are gone,
I do not know what happened,
We were friends for so long.

I guess it just was not meant to be,
Maybe there is someone else out there for me.
I will have to get over it, find someone new,
But I dont think, I will ever get over you.

You have been there since the start,
So how can I let you go?
Whenever I see you,
My heart beat begins to slow.

I can not seem to focus,
When you are on my mind,
I know you will think it’s stupid,
But I just can not leave you behind,

I thought we were forever,
But you forget we were together,
You told me from the start,
That you never meant to break my heart.

But, even though you hurt me,
I can not let you go,
I am in love with you,
I just thought I would let you know.

    A great piece. I personally thought the flow was a little of but it didnt take away from the poem at all and the emotion made up for it. It is easy to relate to! 5/5

    A brilliant piece, the flow is just great. I enjoyed reading this poem, the emotion spelt in every sentence you wrote. One of the hardest feeling to deal with is that of a lost lover yet your love for them still burn deep inside you. Brilliant piece, keep up
