Our Star

Our star disappeared for the reasons we both feared.

I haven't seen it since that day, probably because in my eyes, everything in the universe simply turned gray.

I miss our star, It used to seem closer than it did far.

Now it can't be seen, it disappeared like our relationship, faster than a rocket ship.

Deep down within our hearts I know our star still exists. You're just too stubborn to put it back in the sky to let it, and our relationship shine bright, just like it once did.

Why can't you stop being stubborn, and heal the heart within me, that has so painfully been torn apart?

I don't expect anything from you, I learned not to as soon as you broke your promises and blew out our star.

So keep your distance, stay away from me, and stay far. Just like our star.
