Dearest old friend

by Meagan Adelle   Jul 9, 2009

Hello old friend
We meet again
It's been the longest time
How have you been?
It's been pretty calm for me
Despite my underlying misery

Dearest old friend
We have catching up to do
I've missed the way things had been
I've been lonely without you
Days without you, so boring, so dull
Without you there's a burning inside my skull

Dearest old friend, many call this withdrawal
Or could it be a possible temptation?
But that doesn't matter old friend
Here you are, begin the flirtation
You can slowly sink into my skin
Release the pain from within

Dearest old friend
You must never go
You help me so much
You make the crimson river flow
I need you old friend
Please stay. You can be my end
