Expectations

by Ray Smallshaw   Jul 10, 2009

At my age my expectations are not many,

I just take each day, a day at a time,

When I wake up in the morning I give thanks, for the start of another,

While at its end I also give thanks, for the gift of it,

Expectations more like explanations, for those expectations,

I don't really need them, I just enjoy each gift given me.

Even though short I found this piece very interesting, you expressed yourself through few words in a very beautiful manor =]
