Life Goes On

by Ray Smallshaw   Jul 31, 2009

I sometimes recall the morning after your burial Dad,

Sitting with all those that loved you at breakfast,

Mike said, "My car is playing up again''. and then Ros said, "I need to do some shopping",

I ordered the full English breakfast with extra toast,
and your grandchildren had cereal, while Gloria had porridge,

You see Dad life goes on even though we Love and miss you.

A touching poem about the death of a loved one. Life does go on and at times it doesn't seem fair but is part of the process. Well done.
