Remembrance

by DarkCrystalbtrfy   Aug 13, 2009

Black lace, satin skin
Emotions long forgotten withen
Porcelain hue; steel eyes
A remembrance that time cannot lie

Long ago hidden in shadows, a hero awaits the night
Evening stars start to glimmer in the heavens alight
The moon a sliver creasent against the velvet sky

Rumored fear comes to play
But still hope never fades, as the time wills itself away
Glinting armor, a sheathed sword
Sharpened anger, a strong will stored
For the days ahead in battle they lie
But for now those brown eyes meet steel hue
And these words whispered ill wait for you

Across the sea battle will take my love
The sky storming with lightning bright
Thunder clapping with all its might
And rain pounding fierce as the battle horn sounds
Never a day will pass when I wont think
Of how you went across the sea

Across the sea of churning waves
But ill wait for you and forever ill stay
Then a kiss was placed upon those lips
And crystal tears ran down fingertips
And as that ship went sailing out to sea
You could hear on the wind that passed him by
Ill wait for you my heart, my love, its not goodbye
