Tick Knock High Tock

Transcending through a simple vein,
Blood rushes to my head - stinging,
Flashing lights make this insane,
And on stage, I can't stop singing,

We're falling faster than designed,
A shooting star marked with time,
Surely the solar system has aligned,
And now we're running out of...

Stop, rewind, please take this back,
I can't breathe - my air is lost,
These wings have broken on impact,
Along with the dreams that were...

Can't you see? My heart, it bleeds,
Screaming, "I can't take this away"
We're a flower blooming without seeds,
But if I begged you once just to ...

Now you're the illusion I can't see,
A drug trying to break the trance,
An addiction taking control of me,
Our beautiful disaster of romance,

So hold me close just once more,
And I'll steal your breath again,
We'll fall in love just like before,
With a ring on your finger and then...
