A Prayer for my Soul

Now I lay me, down to sleep
I pray the Lord, my soul to keep.
If i should die before i wake.
I pray the Lord, my soul to take.

so much emotion, passing through soul,
so much pain my heart has turned cold.

So heal my heart Lord, until pain i feel no more
Heal me, while i pray, my knees clamped to the floor.

Heal my soul, my mind, and body.
Hide my tears , so they are no longer seen by the human body

Make me happy.so i will no longer cry.
Hide my pain to the human eye.

Now I lay me, down to sleep.
