From Palm Trees To Buckeye Leaves

by Angie   Oct 7, 2009

From Palm Trees To Buckeye Leaves

sand and sun are no more
shells all tossed into the sea
its time to open another door
step through, goodbye palm tree

here on the other side
cool breezes gently blow
roller coaster emotions slip away
while catching buckeye leaves as they flow

mind now clear of the past
eyes of blue are free of tears
heart opens for new romance
as fake smile disappears

Isn't it a great feeling to a fresh new start? Leaving the past behind and starting a new chapter in a new state. Your happiness flowed through this piece, even though it was only 3 stanzas. Well done!!
