Relentless Soul

And tomorrow, should the Sun refuse to rise
in the darkness my heart will find the path
capturing my soul's reflection in your eyes,
an ocean of tears gone by since I saw you last.

Should the wind cease to fill my sails
casting me adrift in the sea of emptiness,
the comfort of your memory shall never fail
reliving each moment of your delicate caress.

And when the earth crumbles beneath my feet
your love will lift me into the realm of gods
continuing my soul's journey without retreat,
I shall reunite with my true love against all odds.
