The hopeless romantic

by Anthony M   Jan 8, 2010

The magic of a meeting by chance
two hearts beat with furious passion
held spellbound in each other's trance.

Within a fleeting fragment of time
two souls became entwined as one
it's become plain to see destiny's sign.

Desire fueled thoughts refuse to recede
world stops, nothing else matters
two lovers begin to plant the seed.

And like a candle without it's wick
apart we are fated to seek the other,
herein lies the heart, of a hopeless romantic.

This is such a heart touching piece. I was lucky enough to have experienced true love. It was just taken away to soon.
Your poem really touched my heart.
