The Catcher and the Fly

by Rusheena   Jan 21, 2010

*Oldie but Goodie*

I tried to kill a fly,
but it just wouldn't die.
I hit the mirror, and the mirror fell,
but the fly continued to dwell.
As well, I think my eardrums burst.
I'm thinking, "Man, I must be cursed!"
I tried to kill the thing last night,
but it didn't even put a fight.
That little pest is going to pay,
whether it's tomorrow or today.
But if I only had some spray,
I wouldn't have hurt my hand this way.
