The daydreams

I'm laying here
awake in my room
my eyes aren't shut
yet I'm dreaming of you
I imagine us both
laying under the stars
No cares in the world
because together its ours
your head on my shoulder
our bodies held close
"You know your mine forever"
I'd happily boast
You'd look up and grin
ask me "is that so?"
and using a kiss for a period
I'd say "You already know."
those thoughts drift away
back to reality it seems
but at least i know for certain
your still mine in my dreams.

    - that was a lovely beginning, i loved it!

    im pretty sure we can all relate to this poem in some way ... i know i can, which is what makes it that much better! nice work :) i liked this a lot!
