She and Her Darkness

by Ixora   Jan 28, 2010

"Do not give in to the eyes of youth"
Once had been the warning.
What wise words I feel like fighting tonight
But haven't yet the strength.
Upon the end of your letters
There spells out one name;
It puts my soul at ill
And my heart to shame.
Simply to know that a coward
Who once was amorous
Now knows nothing of love
But simply gazes about the heart
With empty eyes.

Sometimes I become insatiable.
Aquatic substances do not quench this thirst.
The food consumes a hunger
That does not exist.
And in this all I must ask
What drives the insane mad.
If all that surrounds them has no intelligence,
And all that leaves them has no meaning.
If there is no release for the pressure
And no ability to implode
How exactly does a restless being
Learn to cope?

Lovers answer me, for I have no justice.
Lover...you keep me bitter, alone.
You taught me this insanity.

-idk.

This is great! "It puts my soul at ill
    And my heart to shame.
Simply to know that a coward
    Who once was amorous
    Now knows nothing of love
But simply gazes about the heart
    With empty eyes."
