The Time Travelers' Wife (Club Group Collab)

by Sylvia   Feb 26, 2010

To love a lady yet to be, here now and in days passed,
Traveling through time to find a love that will last.
Anxious heart ready to be kissed with passion,
To know a love that will always be his, through season after season.

Holding tight to time spent , arms aching to remember
Soft glow of what will again be, bellowing dormant embers
Dreaming of splenders fantasies when our souls glow with bliss,
like a hymn humming sounds, attracting lips for a gourmet kiss.

Even through time he takes with him her taste and fragrant scent,
memories of her that bring him to the brink of torment
Fading to days of yesteryear with a fragrance so sweet
Remembering mistakes better not to repeat

Always to remember tender emotion,
Longing and desire and total devotion.
Treasuring each moment as if it is the last,
discarding the bad and all that's alas.

Holding her closely, not wanting to leave
my breathing shallow, chest begins to heave
time calls me now, I must leave post-haste
nothing to comfort me but the memory of your taste.
