For once in my life can I contain all the joy I hope to find

For once in my life will the burns subside

For once in my life can I just go along for the ride

For once in my life can you just show how you feel

For once in my life can I have loves that is surreal

For once in my life can good conquer disappointment

For once in my life can I live in my paradise
