Downpour(Tanka)

-Barrage of water-
Cascading upon earths ground,
Suffocating filth,
Creating rivers from streams.
Starting life again anew.

Tanka is a classic form of Japanese poetry related to the haiku with five unrhymed lines of five, seven, five, seven, and seven syllables. (5, 7, 5, 7, 7)

    My favorite form is haiku's but tankas are a close second. Again you have done a great job. very descriptive and beautiful
