I don't know if it's poetry anymore
I'm just writing how I feel
I want to be with her forever
Please make all of this real

It has never been easy to part
Because she's so deep in my heart
How do you say goodbye?
When saying it happily is a lie...

She steals my thoughts every day
It's like she's a part of me
And when I take her breath away...
My vocabulary is down to three

The instant she's gone I miss her
I want her back in my life right then
It's as if that second would differ
The time until we're together again

These feelings are embedded deep
They were placed in an instant
I miss her even while I'm asleep
Being in dreams is too distant

These are the little things
The ones I love so much
She gives my soul wings...
And steals me with her touch

Take a look inside
You will see I'm not insane
I'm lost in the love she provides
There is no way to explain...
