I Don't Need A Prince

by Nikkicola   Aug 2, 2010

You were standing against the wall hands crossed over chest
In your tight jeans, hair covering one eye, I had to catch my breath

I couldn't help but blush and I almost tripped over my own feet
My ribs tightened and my heart had an irregular beat

I tried to run but my legs wouldn't move, then your eyes caught mine
I was confused and thoughts rushed around in my mind

I had to brace myself against the wall as you smiled and walked my way
You grabbed my hand and kissed my forehead "Hello baby"

I had been with you for months but I realized that day fairytale love doesn't exsist
I want the real thing, I don't need a prince
