Unknown connection

by Dark Secrets   Nov 27, 2010

What eyes intrigue me in the night
When all there is, is hooting owls
When life seems dead, yet in deep slumber
And silence is it's only clothing

What eyes show passion to me tonight
Embrace my soul in pungent love
Thus the sand in the hourglass freezes
And mind runs off with the winds of darkness

What eyes that hold such sadness
Tell a tale of two lost in hell, from heavens quest
For love to clash into loneliness of heart
And all is left is an unnoticed longing

What eyes spill the secrets of one
That I long to hear from and embrace
Ignorance remains an aspect of affection
And the stubborn heart refuses it's guest

What eyes that reply to that lost one
Beneath the rubble of emotions true
I'm there for you, now and forever
And love is always my authentic address
