Farmer's Market

by Allan Padgham   Dec 20, 2010

When in commerce you partake;
Some decisions you must make.
To move the product it is wise,
To look at how you advertise.
Here is a clue that I can give:
First, don't be too conservative.
In egg selling it's quite strange
It is not enough to be free range.
We need descriptors more exalted;
Lest our sales of eggs be halted.
Limits are there to be tested,
Yesterday's cutting edge is bested.
You need something that is grand.
Plus you need to own your brand.
Here is an image that I see;
Chickens swing down from a tree
Strangle foxes and the like.
Predators; get on your bike.
So our product's name we change;
Now our eggs are Feral Range.

    Quite a cute limerick of sorts you have here. Exceptionally funny punch line. Kudos for the laugh.
