Caught in the Past [Collaboration with James aka Bambi]

Running,
running away
Must leave it all behind
before the past catches up with me

Why am I haunted?
from a love that is unknown
My loneliness dances the minuet;
this place doesn't feel like home

Lost within my thoughts
bombarded by feelings
that should not be felt
losing myself as I shake it off

Moving on is a must
pushing through a crowd
my goal is to move forward
Yet somehow I end up going backward

Love has got me trapped
I thought I could disappear
instead I'm falling down a hole
falling into an unknown destination

Hiding is no longer an option
this love is inevitable
resisting the melancholic past
the past that has caught up with me

Whether in the present or past,
my heart continues to run to and away from you.
