Her

by Yakari Gabriel   Mar 20, 2011

They all speak of her
like..
the sunflower
in a garden of roses

they paint her..
like the face of sin
covering her innocence..

giving her heart
a mediocre shade of black

presenting her..
like a hopeless being.

yet I,
never fail to see

The sweetest sadness
in her eyes.

    Yaki,

again this is another stunning piece. I feel them from your heart. The simplicity grasps my attention as always and I adore the bittersweetness of your words. Such elegance.

I find this to be one of the best you've written in a while because it has that emotional impact that connects the reader to your words.

    A beautiful poem.

Another well done piece from you. Finally exploring your talents, hah? There is not a single word I dislike from this piece. They were all properly placed, and structured perfectly. Well done dahling!
