Personalities

He might be a tongue
busy with grammar
and figures of speech,
a mass of letters and punctuations.

But I'm a liberate language,
boundless and jumbled,
with loads of inflections.

A free verse,
even when I rhyme.
He, might be just
a perfect form to be
read utterly from
behind the bars.

Alas, I love to embrace
each letter I read.

I think you can work on the title though...it seemed too simple for such a profound piece.

    Nana this was beautiful!

    "A free verse,
    even when I rhyme."
^That had to be my favorite line from the poem, it is so heartfelt! The more I read it, the more I fall in love.

Nicely done! This has to be one of my favorites from you.

    Five plus nomination :)
