He's Driving In His Car

by Kerry Gardiner   May 25, 2011

He's driving in his car, as he begins to pick up speed,
Just him and the road tonight, it's all he really needs,
Passing cars right and left, as the wind blows through his hair,
He notices the thoughts he had, are finally no longer there

He's driving in his car, on backroads with the stars,
Just him and the road tonight, there are no other cars,
Country music on the station, as he begins to sing along,
He just gets louder and louder, as he sings his favourite song

He's driving in his car, as he see's the moon over the lake,
Just him and the road tonight, not a decision he has to make
He slows down a little, as he takes in the beauty of this night,
He's driving in his car, and the whole world now seems right
