We were never friends before we became lovers.
We just jumped right into a relationship without getting to know eachother.

A mistake we made on both our parts.
I guess we were just following our hearts.

But what we did not know, or later want to believe,
That me and you weren't meant to be.

So in the end we went our seperate ways,
Agreed to try and be friends and set eachother free.

I'll never forget all the memories and things you taught me,
Because no matter what I'll always love you

And that...Please Believe.

    This is such a common feeling and not such a common subject written about. I have gone through so many relationships just jumping in and it turning out horrible. I loved the piece and I love even more that it was written by you. You have such a way with words that I'm glad you chose this subject. Another great piece. 5/5
