Let it be

by Krista Cummings   Jun 19, 2011

It's not you so much as it is myself,
The pain I have caused, is too much to be dealt.
So your heart may crumble, and your tears may fall,
And you may feel hopeless trying to forget it all.

If there's one thing I've learned, it's to never back down,
For you'll feel the strength of hope as it circles all around.
It may not be so clear, or right in front of your eyes,
Just because it's not seen, why run from it and hide?

If there's a chance for forgiveness, and a time to re-do,
Forget all the hurt and start over anew.
For if it's true love, then the past will be forgotten,
After all, isn't this what you have wanted?

Don't let the good times pass you,
Or let the bad ones freeze.
Because with your one true love...
--Everything is put at ease.
