Don't You Worry Child

by Krista Cummings   Apr 10, 2013

Don't you worry child,
About the worries of tomorrow.
There is something greater,
Comes along to drown your sorrows.

The past may hurt now,
God knows it killed then.
Just know you made it this far,
And will continue into the end.

Don't you worry child,
About the horrors of the world.
That battle isn't your own,
Not made for just one girl.

Mistakes have been made,
And your path has been broken.
Just look into yourself,
And see; unto you He has spoken.

Don't you worry child,
For more journeys you will face.
The path that lies behind you,
Was just a little taste.

A taste of this cold world,
Of friends who turn to foes.
Of finding within, a peace,
To take away your woes.

Don't you worry child,
About the roads ahead.
Just put your faith in me,
And leave out all the rest.
