Beautiful Disaster

by Krista Cummings   Apr 24, 2014

Tell me that I'm worthless,
Snip away at my heart.
Push me to the floor again,
And tear my world apart.

Call me what you see,
When you look into my eyes.
Knock me down, bring me out,
You're a tragedy in disguise.

I live for the interaction,
So you'll tell me how you feel.
Bloodied lip, blackened soul,
Is it beginning to feel real?

A heart so pure and gentle,
Until you came along.
I just can't take it anymore,
You're my favorite suicide song.

So tell me that you feel it,
As your palm connects the blow.
Tell me this, your reality,
Isn't put on for a show.

You're numb to the pain now,
As I'm walking out the door.
Your words, will echo on and on,
As I love for you no more.
