Staring at a photograph
Thinking of your laugh
You made me better
Then I got your letter

Shattered heart is left
With every word I read
Want to go back in time
Every second you were mine

Words one never wishes to hear
Sharp pain bursts through every tear
Forgive me for not letting you speak
Your love I will continue to seek

I forgot what love is, bring it back
Words speak for actions you lack
We were one of the same device
Now we've become like fire and ice

    I'm speechless... the last stanza blew me away. It's definitely the best ending to the poem and my favorite stanza. I liked the story behind this poem... the idea that love is given but can be stopped at times... Very relatable as well. Great job hon!
