Pain. Tossing in the night,
A twisting, turning, endless fight.
Walk right into the light,
A blinding truth, oh so bright.

Choices . That one fatal mistake,
One once promised never to make,
Clouds of rain seem but too fake,
Reflections etched across this lake.

Truth. Hearts exploding with sorrow,
So cherished a life, God decided to borrow,
Leaving quite simply, an empty tomorrow.

Breathe. Breathe. Breathe.

An empty tomorrow leaves nothing but tears,
Proving truthful a mother's worst fears.
We shall not sleep tonight. With minds unclear,
We try to say goodbye to a friend so dear.
