Silk Ribbons Of The Wind

by Innocent Fairy   Aug 2, 2011

Silk ribbons in the wind,
Embrace my skin.
Silk ribbons of the wind,
Shine, glow, and flow.
Silk ribbons of the wind,
Show all the colors of the world.
They come from a dimension,
Beyond time it's self.
Silk ribbon in the wind,
Can't be touched but can be felt.
They are pure and move with grace.
They kiss your face.
Silk ribbons fly with fireflies.
Silk ribbons are my life.
They are what bind my soul,
And inspire my voice.
Silk ribbons in the wind,
Is the thunder in the clouds.
I looked to the sky,
Where the butterflies fly
And silk ribbons are what I found.

I love your unique touch of these "silk ribbons" that captivate the reader in some sort of enchantment- some sort of magic. I like how you mentioned "fireflies" and how they "kiss your face", while I am still left pondering about the mystery of these ribbons in the wind. An enchanting piece- I was a bit unsure about repeating"silk ribbons" so often, because your descriptions were strong enough, it took away from the strength.

I also like how this is in the "life" section as well.....it could be in the nature I think too, but you showed on these ribbons form inspiration.....I think it could have been expanded a bit more for better understanding but the idea is motivational.
