On trial planning

by Allan Padgham   Aug 3, 2011

Unless you are in the science/technology field this may seem pointless, however if you have had to deal with all the paper work that goes with anything physical you try to do today....... so

If we do everything by the book
with regard to procedures we took
then we find in some way
at the end of the day
nothing comes from the tree that we shook.

The procedures we have are defined
and most carefully all are aligned
and so what can be sent
is a risk document
So somebody, somewhere, it's signed

Now the rules and obstructions are many
yes they seem to be four for a penny.
And the all interact
as a matter of fact
To make progress quite slow, that's if any.

So this problem, which can't be forgot,
Is a complex and Gordian knot
and it's quiet the scream
from the trial planning team
as they wrestle the problem they've got.

Now we all want to smell like a rose
as we conjure up some lines of prose
and the aim is achievable
if the text is believable
and you balance the card I suppose.

So it matters not at all what you say
just as long as it's put in a way
so that all we can claim
is that we weren't to blame
and we looked like we cared on the day.
