Can you see all I can see
I can see all you can see
See the day drawing nearer
Nearer to my heart as it opens
Opens to one that will perhaps be mine
Mine and yours, yours and mine together
Together for us to share just like the love
The love that will continue to grow
Grow everyday just like a fire
A fire burning like a burning desire
A desire to act, learn, and be as one
One day this may become true
True love will bless all who wait
Wait patiently for dreams to become real
Real enough that you can now touch it
It can seem painstakingly rough
Rough to endure the confusion and time
Time cant be rushed along any faster
Faster my heart beats as it comes alive
Alive and hungry to feel anything again
Again I hope love will enter my life

    Love poems are hard, very difficult to put that extra spin one feels emotionally.
    I love the simplistic poems like this. It's real feelings not flash and glitter. Excellent piece

    Captain lonesome. u have captured your emotions so well in this one. very well written. i think many will be able to relate to this one. and yes it will come. if u keep a open heart. u will find love again. and that girl is going to be a very lucky girl and u a lucky man! :)
