Hello

by Paul Gondwe   Aug 13, 2011

Hello,
hope you are fine
As usual,
sublime

Mumbling words of passion
Smiling to the sweet melodies of love

You have me thinking
Thoughts of you keep on creeping
In stealth,
they penetrate
Slowly evaporating in my mind

Gorgeous being,
made only for a king
Scent of olive oil
Beauty compared to none other

Sweet as ice cream
Funny as Chaplin
Indeed a queen
Dress to impress
Talk to express

We will sail on foreign seas
Ride the long way express,
to a land unknown
Cementing our love

This is most definitely an idea that I love: to sail to a foreign land with the woman you love because she is like royalty. I'd like more scene, though, and less exposition. Show me that she's beautiful, don't just tell me. Let me feel like I want to sail away with her. I want to feel connected to this poem.

This is a great start to something with vast potential.

Thought i don't know who chaplin is.

Very passionate. Your words are poetry in it's true form. Very well done.
