These days

by Paul Gondwe   Aug 13, 2011

Am all about loving her these days
She is what makes me open my eyes and put on that smile each day
My guiding light in a vacuum filled with darkness

She is what makes me happy these days
Like laughter from a monkey
I do not hide it and neither will I
she gives me strange but warm feelings, those that have me jumping up and down like a child crying for a toy
Those that have me opening my arms in anticipation for her embrace
It is these feelings that have me fantasizing these days

They have me going deep in my own imaginary world where it is just me and her
Gazing at her beauty that shines just like a star
Even a blind man can see it from miles a far

She has my autonomatic system in her hands, driving me wild with her thoughts
Taking my mind to unheard lands,
reaching greater heights no man has ever seen

heights like that of the twin towers
But her love disguised as the tallest of all stands firm something Osama himself can not bring down
So serious, if it were a face, not even laughter would befall it,
even if it were trickled by a crown
Even without a life jacket,
it floats majestically in water refusing to drown

It is intertwined with all things that make up a happy life and it is this happy life that I live with her these days
