Forgotten

Your number navigates
amidst my eyes, too familiar, too missed
and somehow unlikely

I sit here with my prosaic dreamlessness
weaving a sweater of oblivion for my heart,

just in case your number flushes
or
in case my fingers artlessly dial it up.

I can't help but picture an anxious girl fighting the urge to call someone she misses...I can't help but find myself in this little piece of poetry ...

Noura, just yesterday I was about to send a text and then closed it because I thought..bah...it wouldn't make a difference anyways...

I know how you feel here Noura,
When I text someone I always end up looking at my phone for ages until they reply, like every 2 minutes I check it, even though I havent heard it ring. LOL

This was an original masterpiece, Noura, just so good!!
    Love
    Tara
