Questions in her mind

Days go by,
no email, no phone call, nothing,
what is he doing,
is he okay,
does he still want to be with me,
questions cloud her brain.

Almost a week goes by,
her smile starts to fade,
the worry sets in,
how can he do this if he loves me,
when is he gonna pick up the phone
or send her an email to let her know hes okay,
a simple hey baby i love you would do.

Negative thoughts intrude her mind,
telling her to give up, hes not worth it,
her heart saying don't you dare let him go,
you love him, he loves you,
maybe this is a test to prove your love,
but where does she go,
give up on the one she loves,
or keep faith in knowing hes who she wants.

Days go by,
with no contact,
her heart gets achey,
shivering at the thought of something bad,
she loves him more then anything in this world,
not sure which way to go,
she takes a deep breath,
allowing her body to take total peace,
as the answer comes to her.

Don't give up on him,
hes the one,
you love him more then you ever knew,
hes just busy, he misses you too,
smiling to herself,
she hopes this is right,
& keeps hope alive.
