Cuts

I cut to help myself
I am myself when I cut
is it wrong to hurt myself
you hurt me so why can't I hurt myself
I sit here bleeding
a new scar on my arm
blood slithering down my arm
the only time I am in peace
please cut me
make me hurt

    I don't like a lot of cutting poems because so few people can really convey what it is like to actually be someone who self-harms but I have to be honest I liked your poem alot. You seemed to be venting a little which I liked as it give the poem a layer of emotion
