Love Just Isn't Enough

History lays behind us,
up & downs, tears & smiles,
we've been through it all,
fighting nonstop, making up,
trusting in our love to get us
through the very worse.

Telling each other i hate you,
its over, leave me alone,
Remembering then why we held on for so long,
running back into each others arms,
saying baby I'm sorry, I didn't mean that,
we never did give up.

Eight months later,
it came time to say our final goodbyes,
I cried & cried, it broke your heart,
knowing that we were no longer together,
the pain was to much for me,
couldn't take it anymore, i let you go,
kicked you out of my life,
said no more.

Time has past, We've moved on,
or have we truly is the question?
Finding out we both still love each other,
but to scared to reach out & say I miss you,
ups & downs, we've been through everything,
could this work? could we last this time?
