Flail

Using an archer in this verse portrays someone with strength but even the strong make mistakes and, are they man enough to accept that they are soley responsible for their errors or do they simply blame something/someone when things go wrong?

This reminded me of the old saying

"A bad workman always blames his tools".

Another short and very to the point verse from you.
