Flail

Archer casts aspersions at the sun
crying light blinded aim;
yet no shaft flies wider than
faulty shot projecting blame.

Using an archer in this verse portrays someone with strength but even the strong make mistakes and, are they man enough to accept that they are soley responsible for their errors or do they simply blame something/someone when things go wrong?

This reminded me of the old saying

"A bad workman always blames his tools".

Another short and very to the point verse from you.

I was going to comment, but Larry... now I won't be able to.

I'm afraird my comment would appear 'trashy' underneath Noura's ...

so, I'll just leave a 'flawless' remark over here...

Sometimes your comments are better than my poems, Noura.

    At times dear Godfather,
    your poetry that contains four
    lines...

    just four lines

    speaking of life, raising children
    teenaging...rhymes within the
    very thirsty depth of my
    soul, inspiring the cold sleepy
halls of my mind to pen perfection!

at times I feel the need to
    live beyond my world
    with your ever uplifting appeasing
    words...

    ----

    that was magical..
