Arianrhod

by xoxShorteexox   Nov 23, 2011

We dance beneath a full moon,
singing to Arianrhod with joyful tones.
The stars seem to tinkle the tune,
right along with our raised voices.

The fire blazing as we dance around,
the singing can be heard for miles around.
Naked bodies with only leaves to cover,
flowers woven into crowns so carefully.

Smiles and laughter fill the air,
as we raise our arms to Arianrhod.
Dancing the whole night through,
with turns of the wrists and ankles.

Each spin seeming to give more hope,
that Arianrhod is here beside each of us.
Voices growing louder with each hour,
the moon rays embrace us in happiness.

Arianrhod is the Celtic Goddess of the Moon.
