Dream Man

by xoxShorteexox   Nov 28, 2011

As his tall body silhouetted against the pale blue sky,
his eyes as dark as the night sky on the night of the new moon,
the warmth of his touch sending a flame of fiery through my body,
his lips like clay perfectly molded to fit against mine with each kiss.

His muscles perfectly structured as if they were a work of art,
his voice sounds like velvet brushing against my cheek,
he calls my name and I come, as if he's the master of my very soul,
the line of his jaw that seemed to be shaped of marble.

I wake up only to be alone in my king sized lonely bed,
with a pillow pressed close to my chest in a tight grip,
the image of his perfect body and face fill my mind,
waking dreams becoming so hard to deal with.

My body trembles feeling like a piece of my soul is missing,
thoughts of him overwhelm my life with useless hopes,
I pray to get tired earlier just to see his eyes looking into mine,
waiting until I can again see the man that lurks in my dreams.

The man that lurks in my dreams, sounds sinister and chilling.
Very well penned, with a very easy flow.
