I'm a fighter not a lover

I'm a fighter not a lover

What a thing to discover at the tender age of 10 just about when I realize that my child-like eyes were never coming back. Eyes blinded by misconceptions of perfection flowing from a happy home with two parents that treat you like solid gold. You see I never really knew my dad, never sat on his lap, never once felt the joy of his eyes staring down on the portion of him that was me, never fell asleep to the sound of my parents bed springs squeaking in unison that the two people responsible for each one of my breaths hadn't quite realized their mistake yet. No, I only ever had one parent . One Split between 3, yep my two brothers and me were raised by one woman and 3 tons of paracetamol to keep the head-aches at bay. Yep my life is pretty much a walking Cliche but my stupid catch phrase is more depressing than anything.

I'm a fighter not a lover.
