Watchng...the clock

by tainted melody   Dec 13, 2011

It smiles at me as if to say,
I know the things you do by day.

And as the light goes out at night,
It hears the voices in their fight.

It stands errect year by year,
Steady, constant, always here.

And when the sun begins to rise,
It watches all with wide eyes.

It holds the stories of their past,
It's memories will always last.

It stands errect year by year,
Steady, constant, always here.

It knows the secrets hidden,
Things done forbidden.

It knows all of the generations,
The childrens imaginative creations.

It's stands errect year by year,
Steady, constant, always here.

I loved this girl. I thought the idea of it was so creative but yet how u described it made it poetic. It was almost as if it were a story and very clever and well written also. Nice write! Great job. :-)
